The Engagement Boot Camp is a full-day workshop held from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Mission Connect is designed to provide nonprofit members of Experience Matters an engaging, resource-building opportunity to expand on ideas and practices learned at the Engagement Boot Camp workshop, while also giving them an opportunity to build a network among their nonprofit peers. This event is free for member organizations.

Engagement Academy is an innovative program that provides a road map for organizations to create or enhance their volunteer programs through our ACTIVE 8 approach: Assessment, Coaching, & Training/Technical Assistance, In Volunteer Engagement. The “8” represents eight leading practices in volunteer management—spanning from ground-level engagement, placement, and evaluation of volunteers, to overarching issues of policies, infrastructure, and technology.

The program includes:
• Engagement Boot Camp
• Orientation/overview for senior and board leadership
• Customized coaching for the organization’s project team to plan, design, and facilitate their ACTIVE 8 project

The Knowledge Hub is a central location for online tools and resources that offer users valuable insights and information on the nonprofit sector. Both our Service Profile and Nonprofit Navigator online training help individuals understand the ins and outs of the social sector before engaging in service work at a local nonprofit.
