Q:  What was your primary career and what did you love about it?

A:  Radiation Therapist – providing excellent care and support for my patients and their families.

Q. When you retired, did you feel ‘finished’ or, for you, was there still something left to do?

A:  Definitely more to do. Specifically, to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need, especially the homeless.

Q:  What inspires you and why?

A:  Living by Gods Holy words. Understanding that there is more to life then myself.  Placing others interest before mine. Caring for those in need.

Q:  How does your unique set of experiences make a difference for the community in your work now?

A:  I help the homeless through my church, a local faith based mission and for those unfortunate homeless people whom choose to live on the streets rather then going to a safe shelter.

Q:  What’s your advice for boomers who are about to launch their own “second act”?

A:  Be passionate about your second act! Make a positive difference in others lives!
