Encore Fellowships Program
Allows highly-skilled professionals to work for 10 months with a nonprofit organization on a high-impact assignment. This program gives businesses an opportunity to assist those employees who will be transitioning from midlife to a new stage of work and life, while complementing corporate programs such as early retirement, corporate volunteerism or outplacement services.
Service By Design
Service By Design at Experience Matters brings together member nonprofits in need of expertise with professionals who want to apply their talents and skills in a one time or short- term assignment. Projects may include a vast array of opportunities from teaching and training to design or planning. Nonprofit organizations and Service By Design Associates receive ongoing coaching to ensure successful work plan, placement and completion of project.
Explore Your Future Workshops
A four-session series designed for employees and individuals age 50+ who are in job transition or seeking to discover their pathway in the next phase of their lives. These workshops help businesses enhance their employee loyalty, reduce employee transition impact on the organization, and increase social responsibility efforts.
Learning Lab Workshops
For nonprofit organizations and government agencies, the Learning Lab Workshops inspire new ideas and insights to increase the capacity of organizations to capture the energy and expertise of adults age 50+. The two-day in-depth training is led by experienced trainers knowledgeable about managing change in organizations and nonprofit-capacity building. Participants come away with new insights, as well as realistic, actionable plans.

Your Experience Counts
In partnership with HandsOn Greater Phoenix and six valley school districts, Your Experience Counts places adult mentors aged 50+ in 3rd-6th grade classrooms to provide tutoring in reading, writing, science and math.

Boomers Serving AZ Schools
Boomers Serving AZ Schools will serve as dynamic volunteer resource coordinators at school host sites. Experience Matters will provide the expertise and training on a unique engagement model so that members can help schools assess school needs, analyze community resources and foster business and community relationships with special emphasis on Boomer Engagement.
